Vincent Willem Van Gogh was born on March 30, 1853, in the Netherlands and died on July 29, 1890, in France. Vincent Van Gogh only became famous after his death, and today this Dutch artist is considered one of the greatest artists in history. His work is a significant source of modern art. Van Gogh began painting only at the age of 30, and his most famous works were created in the last two years of his life. He is the author of over 2000 works, including 870 paintings, 150 watercolors, and nearly 1000 drawings and 133 sketches. Today, numerous self-portraits, landscapes, portraits, and sunflowers are among the most recognizable and expensive artworks in the world.<\/p>
